After studying drama and musical theater at UC Irvine, I completed a Master’s degree in Theater Studies at California State University, Northridge where my research focused on contemporary Irish drama.
My doctoral studies took me to UC Santa Barbara’s Department of Theater and Dance where I completed my Ph.D. in Theater, Dance, and Performance Studies.
My teaching expertise covers a range of theater and performance topics from acting and textual analysis to theater history and interdisciplinary performance studies.
As a director, I’m inspired by stories that exist at the intersection of history and imagination.
